Building Ecosystems

Education, Agritourism, and Training

Marcus Roberson’s journey is one of grit, transformation, and deep-rooted community impact. A Bronx native and former Army logistician, he spent 12 years mastering strategy and efficiency—skills that proved invaluable when, near 50, he took on farming. Now in his eighth season as a Certified Naturally Grown farmer, industrial hemp grower, and beginner farmer trainer, Marcus champions soil health, sustainability, and stewardship, proving that farming isn’t just about food—it’s about healing the earth, strengthening ecosystems, and empowering families and communities.

Woodbox Farm became more than a place to grow—it became a hub for family-friendly, eco-friendly farming, connection, and education. Seeing firsthand how small farmers struggle with marketing and sales, Marcus launched Good Earth Therapy, a boots-on-the-ground agribusiness resource. What began as an app evolved into a powerful tool creating opportunities, helping farmers, entrepreneurs, and earth healers gain visibility, streamline sales, and access critical resources and technical assistance. Designed to be accessible for all ages, Good Earth Therapy supports farm families, local markets, and sustainable agriculture initiatives.

Now, Marcus is taking it further. Leveraging his expertise in logistics, infrastructure, and relentless networking, he’s building a collaborative makerspace—a dynamic, family-friendly ecosystem where farmers, skilled journeypersons, and future leaders unite to share knowledge, trade resources, and advance stewardship of the land. His mission is clear: connect those who cultivate, heal, and protect the earth with those ready to support, learn, and grow. Whether you're an aspiring farmer, a family looking to reconnect with nature, or a passionate advocate for sustainability, there’s a place for you here.
